I absolutely loved this book, couldnt put it down! The characters were so believable and the hardships they faced through the war, with loved ones lost and the constant threat of the enemy made you feel you wanted to do your bit to help! I am still shielding since March, but felt i had visited the Scottish Highlands as the descriptions of the landscape were so vivid and the characters apart from the Laird so welcoming, it’s the first place I intend to visit when its finally safe to do so! Thank you Fiona, I’m so glad you’re sharing your gift with all your faithful readers. I’m not very clever with Zoom etc and my daughters not able to visit through shielding to set it up for me but hope it goes well x

Ms.Valpry
I have just finished your books about France during WWII. I didn’t know much about France during those years. I was blown away. I cried, a lot, but I laughed as well. I’ve pre ordered your book about Casablanca. But I have searched Kindle for The French for Christmas. I cannot find it. Is it only available in book format? I am your newest best fan. I’ve spent really late nights not being able to put your books down. They are amazing. Thank you for your wonderful books. I feel like I should have been more aware of the happenings in France during that period. As an American in my 60’s, sadly we were not taught about a lot of that history. And, as our history is being done away with as new history books are written, I’m afraid younger people won’t know. And as you know…we are doomed to repeat things forgotten. I thank you that a least with authors like you, history will remain intact!
Extremely grateful,
Debbie Lloyd

Dear Debbie,

Thank you for getting in touch. I’m so pleased to know how much you’ve been enjoying my books and very much appreciate your kind comments.

The French for Christmas is currently unavailable as a new publisher has bought the rights to it, but is about to be revised and will be re-issued in 2022. Watch this space! And in the meantime, I hope you will also enjoy The Storyteller of Casablanca which comes out next month.

All best wishes,
Fiona
