Hi Fiona
Just pre-ordered your new novel. Watched the film re your travels in Nepal. What an adventure!! You must be really fit doing all that walking up mountain trails. I found it so interesting. The people seem really hard working, gracious and kind. I bet the grand mother you spoke with had some stories to tell. I think the gardening element is really interesting. I can imagine that mountain basin you trekked to being full of some really pretty flowers. It must be quite a sight to see. Also the part where you got to experience washing the laundry by hand and using the yak’s dung for energy was really interesting. I am really looking forward to reading your new book Fiona. As always I wish you the very best with its launch and wish you all the best in life.
Kind Regards

What fun to wake up in Denver USA and visit Nepal with Fiona before getting out of bed. You are an amazing woman like so many of your stars in your galaxy of writings all these years.

Your film was so uplifting, Fiona. What a privilege to meet those wonderful people. It certainly made me realise how easy our lives are compared to theirs and, like you, I’ll never take my washing machine (or any of my mod cons!) for granted again! I’ve read all your books and loved them and the Cypress Maze was my favourite. However, I think it might be supplanted by The Sky Beneath Us and I’m really looking forward to reading it. Thank you for shari g your fascinating research trip with us. Love and best wishes to you.

What a wonderful insight into your trip Fiona. Stunning scenery and so interesting with the loveliest, friendly people. Cannot wait to see your skills making pancakes – maybe not from a yak though, in Scotland. So looking forward to reading your book – it’s always such a treat.

I really enjoyed The Dressmakers Gift, especially how you alternated between Harriett and Claire; I literally cried when you revealed Vivenne’s real name. (My teenage son also enjoyed it as part of a fiction genre elective we’re doing in homeschooling and thought it was very well written.) I’m looking forward, then, to The Sky Beneath Us!

Dear Fiona,
You are a WonderWoman, for certain.. The research video is wonderful, a visual testimony to your literary prowess and dedication as well as your physical strength. I believe I have read each of your novels and have been struck each time by the depth of your research. That, is to my mindwhat makes your fiction “real.” It breathes, it lives. I have preordered The Sky Beneath Us and will walk those steps with you and your characters. I can hardly wait.
