Hi Shelley, yes, both books have a French element to them. I don’t have bookplates yet, but am working on it. I’ll post here in due course…
All good wishes,
Fiona
I now have some pretty stickers that I can sign and send you to stick in as bookplates if you’d like. Just send me a direct message via either FB or Twitter (links on left) with your mailing address and to let me know how many you’d like.
Thanks for all your support.
Best wishes, Fiona

Thank you so much, I have only just received this so I have now sent you a private message via Facebook x
Have just re-read all three of your books and cannot wait for more.
I live in Turquoise coast Turkey so use Kindle and as a 77year old garden maker and painter I love the descriptions in your work. You obviously have a very deep feel for countryside and its inhabitants and spend times watching and reflecting and you love people with compassion for their inner growth and healing.
Your descriptions are sheer delight and coat the text like the best of creamy béchamel sauces.
Your characters become like family and I miss them but also my heart is uplifted by the positivity of relationship throughout them all. Such a joy in a world we are told is crashing around our ears. They are a few of my “Islands of Light,” in the Ocean of storms.
Thank you Fiona.

Dear Rose,
Thank you for your lovely message. You are a kindred spirit! I think the ‘Ocean of Storms’ is what happens in life, but the ‘Islands of Light’ are what matter in life. I’m so pleased my books have brought you joy.
Excellent news, I’m sure I’m not the only one who has been waiting for an announcement (and checking your author page on Amazon in case I missed a launch).
I am thrilled to hear that two books will be released in 2017. I love the way you have weaved in characters from previous books into your new novels. Hoping we will recognise some in the new books too.
Hi Andrea, thanks so much for getting in touch. The next book, which is now scheduled for publication in early 2018, visits some new people and places (though still with a French theme); but in the second one due for publication later next year you will meet up with some old friends!
So pleased to know you enjoy the books.
With best wishes,
Fiona
I am so very happy to have found your wonderful books! You tell the story in such a way that I cannot put the book down. I am now on the sixth book and am sad that I have to wait until 2020 for the next one. Your writing is a joy and I love the history of the time period. I have found only six books and mention of two book deals in 2017, but could not find any published in 2017. I just don’t want to miss one. Again, thank you for the compelling and beautiful stories that you tell.
It’s lovely to hear from you – thanks for getting in touch. I’m so pleased to hear how much you’ve enjoyed all the books. You are up to date having read the six, (the 2 books that were due to come out in 2017 took a little longer to be published and they are Sea of Memories and The Beekeeper’s Promise which both came out in 2018). I’m hard at work on the next one and will post more news on the website once we have a publication date for it.
Thank you for all your support!
With best wishes,
Fiona
I am a 62-year old man who discovered your books quite by chance in Kindle Unlimited. I am so grateful that I did. Your stories, and I’ve read them all, are heart-warming and leave me feeling better about things. My first was Sea of Memories and I know I’ll read it and the others again as I await new ones. Thank you for these remarkable books!
